Drive.ai has partnered with the City of Arlington, Texas to offer one of the nation’s first self-driving on-demand services open to the general public. Beginning October 2018, Drive.ai will operate near the Dallas Cowboys stadium, the Texas Rangers stadium, Arlington Convention Center, CenterPoint office complex, and surrounding areas as part of the city’s latest transportation technology program. Through a convenient, on-demand ride hailing system, Arlington residents and visitors can connect to office parks, restaurants, convention centers, entertainment venues, and public recreational spaces throughout the area.
Interested in bringing self-driving cars to your community?
We operate service between popular Arlington destinations such as AT&T Stadium, Globe Life Park, and other venues. Riders simply select where they would like to be picked up and where they would like to be dropped off and our nearest available vehicle dynamically routes the way. This service provides an additional mobility solution to an area that frequently sees traffic congestion due to large events.
Eligible Service Users
The Arlington service will be open to the general public, meaning that anyone – from local community members to weekend visitors in town for a Cowboys or Rangers game – can hail a ride. Riders can request a ride in real-time by downloading the Drive.ai mobile app, or from one of several kiosks conveniently located in the service area. The service is available at no cost to users.
